PWG-ANNOUNCE> DMTF CIM v2.16 Release (13 August 2007)

Hi,

DMTF CIM v2.16 has now been released at:

  http://www.dmtf.org/standards/cim/cim_schema_v216

New in this release:

  - XML Schema translations of all CIM MOF classes, per
    DMTF DSP0230 "WS-CIM Mapping Specification" (2006)

  - CIM_PrintOutputTray - the first of the Print Device
subunits from Printer MIB to be published in CIM

Sadly, as usual, the DMTF home page is out-of-date and
only mentions the previous CIM v2.15 release.

Rick - the new DMTF VP Technology might want to make some
effort to keep the DMTF home page up-to-date - the "news"
is more often "old news".

Cheers,
- Ira

PWG-ANNOUNCE> Preliminary Plenary Slides posted

FYI - I have posted a preliminary slide set for the Thursday morning Joint Plenary in Montreal. Some of the information in the slides may change as I continue to work on completing them. I mainly wanted to make these available early so the LF/OP folks can preview PWG content that will be discussed at the Plenary.

PWG-ANNOUNCE> No Printing Summit dial-in service available

Hi,

There are no practical phone facilities in this large (72 people)
auditorium here at L'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal.

So, there will NOT be any dialup teleconference for the Printing
Summit or the Joint Plenary of PWG/Open Printing on Thursday.

There WILL be dialup teleconference on Wednesday afternoon,
Thursday afternoon, and Friday for the PWG working group sessions
in the small (24 people) room next door here.

Cheers,
- Ira
