Hello!

Hi,

I just subscribed to this list, and would like to check that it works… Could somebody be kind enough to give me some ”echo”?

I subscribed to this list to support the extension of GSMP towards so-called “Layer 2 control” scenarios between Access Nodes (e.g. DSLAM) and Broadband Access Nodes (BRAS), as discussed in the context of the DSL-Forum for quite a while, as captured in the DSLF PD-021 document, which I co-authored.

Re: Hello!

Hi,

Yes, the list works, though it has been quiet for a while now.

As I have mentioned in conversations to Dave Allen I am personally
supportive of extending GSMP to support DSL and will do what needs to
be done in the core document of which I am the editor.

Is it possible for non DSL forum members to get ahold of the DSLF
PD-021 document so that the requirements can be know and the work
needed understood.

thanks and welcome
a.

Re: Hello!

Looks like the list still works.

The protocol however is resting in peace. Let me know if you manage to exhume
it.
