I-D ACTION:draft-ietf-geopriv-loc-filters-01.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories.
This draft is a work item of the Geographic Location/Privacy Working Group of the IETF.

Title : A Document Format for Filtering and Reporting Location Notications in the Presence
Information Document Format Location Object (PIDF-LO)
	Author(s)	: R. Mahy
	Filename	: draft-ietf-geopriv-loc-filters-01.txt
	Pages : 17
	Date : 2007-3-7

This document describes filters which limit asynchronous location
notifications to compelling events. The resulting location
information is conveyed in existing location formats wrapped in
GEOPRIV privacy extensions to the Presence Information Document
Format (PIDF-LO). Location disclosure is limited to voluntary
disclosure by a notifier that possesses credentials for the named
   resource.

I-D ACTION:draft-ietf-geopriv-pdif-lo-profile-06.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories.
This draft is a work item of the Geographic Location/Privacy Working Group of the IETF.

Title : GEOPRIV PIDF-LO Usage Clarification, Considerations and Recommendations
	Author(s)	: H. Tschofenig, et al.
	Filename	: draft-ietf-geopriv-pdif-lo-profile-06.txt
	Pages : 28
	Date : 2007-3-7

The Presence Information Data Format Location Object (PIDF-LO)
specification provides a flexible and versatile means to represent
location information. There are, however, circumstances that arise
when information needs to be constrained in how it is represented so
that the number of options that need to be implemented in order to
make use of it are reduced. There is growing interest in being able
to use location information contained in a PIDF-LO for routing
applications. To allow successfully interoperability between
applications, location information needs to be normative and more
tightly constrained than is currently specified in the PIDF-LO. This
document makes recommendations on how to constrain, represent and
interpret locations in a PIDF-LO. It further recommends a subset of
GML that MUST be implemented by applications involved in location
   based routing.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE

We are probably going to swap the time of the geopriv and spearmint
meeting.

This will result in spearmint being 9:00 Tuesday and geopriv being
9:00 Thursday. This is not confirmed yet but I wanted to give folks a
early heads up that this was likely to happen.

My apologies for the late notice on this but we have some issues
around when we can get the chairs to be here.

Thanks, Cullen

Times of GEOPRIV and SPEERMINT meeting changed

The times of the GEOPRIV and SPEERMINT meetings have been changed.
Geopriv is now thursday at 9:00 while SPEERMINT is now tuesday at
9:00. You can find them on agenda at

https://datatracker.ietf.org/public/meeting_agenda_html.cgi?
meeting_num=68

I know this causes some problems but it was the best plan could come
up with.

Thanks, Cullen
