I-D Action:draft-ietf-dnsop-default-local-zones-13.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Domain Name System Operations Working Group of the IETF.

	Title : Locally-served DNS Zones
	Author(s) : M. Andrews
	Filename : draft-ietf-dnsop-default-local-zones-13.txt
	Pages : 14
	Date : 2010-04-30

Experience with the Domain Name System (DNS) has shown that there are
a number of DNS zones all iterative resolvers and recursive
nameservers should automatically serve, unless configured otherwise.
RFC 4193 specifies that this should occur for D.F.IP6.ARPA. This
document extends the practice to cover the IN-ADDR.ARPA zones for RFC
1918 address space and other well known zones with similar
characteristics.

I-D Action:draft-ietf-isis-layer2-05.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the IS-IS for IP Internets Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Extensions to IS-IS for Layer-2 Systems
	Author(s) : A. Banerjee, et al.
	Filename : draft-ietf-isis-layer2-05.txt
	Pages : 60
	Date : 2010-04-30

This document specifies the IS-IS extensions necessary to support
multi-link IPv4 and IPv6 networks, as well as to provide true link
state routing to any protocols running directly over layer 2. While
supporting this concept involves several pieces, this document only
describes extensions to IS-IS. We leave it to the systems using
these IS-IS extensions to explain how the information carried in
IS-IS is used.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Diameter Maintenance and Extensions Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Diameter Attribute-Value Pairs for Cryptographic Key Transport
	Author(s) : G. Zorn, et al.

Some Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) applications
require the transport of cryptographic keying material; this document
specifies a set of Attribute-Value Pairs (AVPs) providing native
Diameter support of cryptographic key delivery.

I-D Action:draft-ietf-proto-wgdocument-states-03.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.

Title : Definition of Working Group Document States
	Author(s) : E. Juskevicius
	Filename : draft-ietf-proto-wgdocument-states-03.txt
	Pages : 22
	Date : 2010-05-01

This document defines different states that an Internet-Draft (I-D)
may be in while associated with an IETF working group. The first
state describes an I-D that is being considered for adoption by a
working group. One of several possible last states describes an I-D
that has been sent to the IESG for publication.

The IETF Datatracker tool will be enhanced to make it possible for
working group chairs to indicate the status of working group
documents in order to provide more feedback and transparency to
document authors and to the IETF community.

Appendix A describes different states used by IETF Area Directors to
indicate the status of I-Ds sent to the IESG for review and
publication.

I-D Action:draft-hoyer-keyprov-pskc-algorithm-profiles-01.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.

Title : Additional Portable Symmetric Key Container (PSKC) Algorithm Profiles
	Author(s) : P. Hoyer, et al.
	Filename : draft-hoyer-keyprov-pskc-algorithm-profiles-01.txt
	Pages : 30
	Date : 2010-05-02

The Portable Symmetric Key Container (PSKC) contains a number of XML
elements and XML attributes carrying keys and related information.
Not all algorithms, however, are able to use all elements and for
other algorithm certain information is mandatory. This lead to the
introduction of PSKC algorithm profiles that provide further
description about the mandatory and optional information elements and
their semantic, including extensions that may be needed. The main
PSKC specification defines two PSKC algorithm profiles, namely "HOTP"
and "PIN". This document extends the initial set and specifies nine
further algorithm profiles for PKSC.

I-D Action:draft-ietf-behave-ftp64-01.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Behavior Engineering for Hindrance Avoidance Working Group of the IETF.

Title : IPv6-to-IPv4 translation FTP considerations
	Author(s) : I. van Beijnum
	Filename : draft-ietf-behave-ftp64-01.txt
	Pages : 15
	Date : 2010-05-02

The File Transfer Protocol has a very long history, and despite the
fact that today, other options exist to perform file transfers, FTP
is still in common use. As such, it is important that in the
situation where some client computers are IPv6-only while many
servers are still IPv4-only and IPv6-to-IPv4 translators are used to
bridge that gap, FTP is made to work through these translators as
best it can.

FTP has an active and a passive mode, both as original commands that
are IPv4-specific, and as extended, IP version agnostic commands.
The only FTP mode that works without changes through an IPv6-to-IPv4
translator is extended passive. However, many existing FTP servers
don't support this mode, and some clients don't ask for it. This
document describes server, client and middlebox (if any) behavior
that minimizes this problem.

I-D Action:draft-ietf-ippm-tcp-throughput-tm-01.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the IP Performance Metrics Working Group of the IETF.

Title : TCP Throughput Testing Methodology
	Author(s) : B. Constantine, et al.
	Filename : draft-ietf-ippm-tcp-throughput-tm-01.txt
	Pages : 18
	Date : 2010-05-03

This memo describes a methodology for measuring sustained TCP
throughput performance in an end-to-end managed network environment.
This memo is intended to provide a practical approach to help users
validate the TCP layer performance of a managed network, which should
provide a better indication of end-user application level experience.
In the methodology, various TCP and network parameters are identified
that should be tested as part of the network verification at the TCP
layer.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Session Initiation Protocol Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Essential correction for IPv6 ABNF and URI comparison in RFC3261
	Author(s) : V. Gurbani, et al.

This document corrects the Augmented Backus-Naur Form (ABNF)
production rule associated with generating IPv6 literals in RFC3261.
It also clarifies the rule for Uniform Resource Identifier (URI)
comparison when the URIs contain textual representation of IP
addresses.
