I-D Action:draft-ietf-6lowpan-hc-02.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the IPv6 over Low power WPAN Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Compression Format for IPv6 Datagrams in 6LoWPAN Networks
	Author(s) : J. Hui, P. Thubert
	Filename : draft-ietf-6lowpan-hc-02.txt
	Pages : 16
	Date : 2008-11-01

This document specifies an IPv6 header compression format for IPv6
packet delivery in 6LoWPAN networks. The compression format relies
on shared context to allow compression of arbitrary prefixes. This
document specifies compression of multicast addresses and a framework
for compressing next headers. This framework specifies UDP
compression and is prepared for additional transports.

I-D Action:draft-farrel-rtg-common-bnf-07.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.

Title : Reduced Backus-Naur Form (RBNF) A Syntax Used in Various Protocol Specifications
	Author(s) : A. Farrel
	Filename : draft-farrel-rtg-common-bnf-07.txt
	Pages : 12
	Date : 2008-11-01

Several protocols have been specified using a common variant of the
Backus-Naur Form (BNF) of representing message syntax. However, there
is no formal definition of this version of BNF.

There is value in using the same variant of BNF for the set of
protocols that are commonly used together. This reduces confusion and
simplifies implementation.

Updating existing documents to use some other variant of BNF that is
already formally documented would be a substantial piece of work.

This document provides a formal definition of the variant of BNF that
has been used (that we call Reduced BNF), and makes it available for
use by new protocols.

I-D Action:draft-mohali-diversion-history-info-01.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.

Title : Mapping and interworking of Diversion information Between Diversion and History-Info Headers
in the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
	Author(s) : M. Mohali
	Filename : draft-mohali-diversion-history-info-01.txt
	Pages : 23
	Date : 2008-11-01

Diversion header is not standardized but widely used to convey
diverting information in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) signaling.
This informational document proposes a way to make interwork call
diversion information contained in a Diversion header with a History-
Info header or with the Voicemail-URI which are standardized
solutions. In addition, an interworking policy is proposed to manage
the headers coexistence.
The History-Info header is described in [RFC4244] and the Voicemail
URI in [RFC4458].
Since the Diversion header is used in many existing networks
implementations for transport of diversion informationand its
interworking with standardized solutions is not obvious, an
interworking recommendation is needed.
