Modeling cars with blender

Hello, I'm Fabio Viola, an old TORCS fan and a mailing list member.

I would like to ask you something about modeling cars with Blender...
I created 3 cars and textured them using base texturing methods. They
all works fine in TORCS..

here's one of my creatures:

http://salug.it/~fabioviola/dmc6.png

Now I would like to use UV mapping and it's here that I'm having the
biggest trouble: once I UV mapped the car I exported it to .ac, then
converted to .acc removing lines starting with "crease" (as I read on a
tutorial). Well... I have no texture and the car is invisible in TORCS :(

How can I export the car to .acc including the texture? And how can I
save the texture to an .rgb file?

Can you explain me the right procedure I have to follow to model TORCS
cars with blender?

Thank you very much,
Fabio

Done! Ocirne I have to thank you! In that tutorial I found where I was
wrong...
Now I'm writing a tutorial about modeling cars with Free Software
(Blender + The Gimp + Inkscape). Guys let me know if you're interested.

;-) Eager to see the tutorial, Torcs lacks a bit in this sense.
