My skills are average at best. I find that some folks simply excel in word games and are just unbeatable. That kind of saps the fun out of the games when folks like them are involved. Another reason, however, is that when playing with my game group, I much prefer to play European style games. I play party games and word games with family and "casual gaming" friends. My game group is more targeted towards other strategy-oriented fare. I usually don't want to play word or party games in that venue. Just a personal preference. -- Greg J.
