WORLD YOUTH SCRABBLE CHAMPIONSHIP 2011 - preliminary announcement

Unfortunately, our plans to run WYSC2011 in Qatar have proved impossible, because Mrs Judith Britten (the
chief person organising this in Qatar) has moved to Oman - good news for Oman, but it means we have had to
relocate WYSC to Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
This is not all bad news, as many young people enjoy playing the Causeway Challenge and other tournaments
(eg Princess Cup) happening beforehand.

Hi Philip

Appropriately let me be the first to comment on this breaking news as I do after all have an enormous stake in this affair.

Well done to my namesake! There has been criticism about the delay in the announcement but I daresay the wait was worth it. People with names like Philip/Phillip are obviously geniuses.

More prize money and even more crucial, more days, more games! What more can anyone ask for?

See everyone there!
