July 2009 18xx night approaches!

18xx night approachs...this coming Monday!  Which 18xx would you like to
play?  I've created a small poll to help us decide:

What would you like to play?

Updates:

  Several of us have now played a few games of 18TN.  It a neat game,
  quite similar to 18Mex, and is far better with 3 playrs than with 4.
  We finished a 3 player game tonight, from start to finish, in 180
  minutes with experienced 18xx players and a small focus on sprightly
  play.

  I should also receive 18VA by next Monday.  I'm told it too is best
  with 3 players.  I'll make sure to be ready with the rules.

  Ron has offered to bring his copies of 1826 and 18West and I've added
  them to the poll.

Not just 18xx will be played...

A clarification for new folks on the list - there will be plenty of other
games, besides 18xx played as well.

Hello Game-Junkies,

The expansions for Dominion and Race for the Galaxy are finally out next week, and I want to place my order.  Of
course, if others join in, we can save a few bucks.  

So far, I plan to order from Boards & Bits due to best price for the games that people want.  Alternatively, I'd
also order from coolstuffinc.com as well.

(Yes, you can get free shipping other places, but then they charge more for the games.) 

So far I have the following people signed up to order:
Eugene: RFTG: Rebel vs. Imperium (15.46)
Stephanie: Dominion: Intrigue (27.86)
Me: Dominion: Intrigue (27.86)

(28.82 more needed to get 1/2 price shipping from B&B or only 1 more copy of Dom: I to get free shipping from coolstuffinc.com)

Any takers?  C'mon, you know you want some new games.  You do.

Ok, thanks everybody.  I have enough interest to make the order.  I'll wait until Saturday to place the order
to give anyone else a chance as well.  

I trust folks to pay me when the order arrives in a few weeks, cash preferred, but checks are ok.  I haven't
linked PayPal to my bank account, so no PayPal please.
