wiki

Hey Folks,

I was looking at a Rifts scenario I wrote for Leprecon 2007. It didn't have
the title on the document and I've forgotten what I've called it. Does
anyone have access to a convention brochure from that year.

As part of my investigation I looked at www.irishgamingwiki.com and was
surprised at the lack of input into the wiki. So being a sad lonely gamer I
put in info from two brochures I had at hand and info from two upcoming
cons.

I had some observations. Firstly that the two Leprecon and Gaelcon brochures
said it was the XXth event, but didn't have the year of the event. Which
isn't needed for the event because it current, but as these become a
historical document it would be valuable. Secondly the information isn't
always clearly laid out. In 'The Eye' from Leprecon the rpgs and lrps
weren't separated and the committee had funny blurbs that didn't explain
what their role was. If that isn't marked down it could be lost.

I would bring home the brochures, but would just dump them somewhere. I
remember having a folder with a few years worth brochures which I'll try and
find. Even if I do there will still be gaps.

So if you have this kind of info maybe we can find a way to collaborate and
track down what is missing.

Tadeusz

Re: wiki

Tadeusz,
The people you're looking for, who have done production for Leprecon in the
most recent years have been, Michael "Savage" Fitzpatrick and Baz "Nuge"
Nugent, both of which can be found on the Trinity mailing list,
http://forum.leprecon.info .

I agree with you that con's and writers should try and upload as much
information as possible to the Wiki, which is why I've released and dug up
any soft copies of previous Gaelcon programs going back to 2002 (minus 2004
for some reason). They can all be found at http://www.gaelcon.com/Files

I also have some other soft copy files which I've passed on to Charles,
which include all the Leamhcon programs and fliers (1997-2001) and Leprecon
(21 - 24), I'm sure I can dig them up again.

Regards,
Aidan

Re: wiki

Hm, I didn't have a problem, but I've only used it over the past two days.
Mark Cunnigingham started the wiki, so maybe he can help, I don't have an
email for him.

If there are three or four people interested maybe we can have a short
meeting at Gaelcon.

Gaelcon question

What's the story with parking for Gaelcon. It was never an issue in Clontark when parking there on Saturday
and leaving the car there until Monday. I doubt the same applies for a hotel in Ballsbridge.
