encouragment to print out and laminate the rest of it

Re: GaelCon and Civ Boardgame

I'd be up for that too (assuming of course that it dosen't clash with
the must play game of the Con, whatever that may be, (maybe it'll be
CIV!!))

Re: Gaelcon 2008 - Game Submissions

In the abscence of any info about wargaming at Gaelcon here or on the
site, can anyone direct me to the wargames coordinator (if there is
one!)
Alternatively should we just turn up early on Saturday and grab a
table?

Cheers
Donogh

ENNIES Voting Open - Vote Early, Vote Often

The voting for this year's ENNie awards is now open here:

http://www.ennieawards.com/voting.html

The particular reason I mention this is that Game Night, by Jonny
Nexus of Critical
Miss and Irish convention fame, is up for an award! Specifically his
first novel,
Game Night, is up for Best Regalia.

Game Night is a wonderfully funny novel of what happens when six gods sit down
to roleplay and those of you who were at Warpcon may have had the opportunity
to purchase a copy. You can find out more about the book here:

http://www.jonnynexus.com/gamenight/

Full disclosure, Jonny is a close friend of mine and I proofread the
book, but really,
it is so very, very funny. And it would rock if he picked up the
award ahead of White
Wolf or the like. :)

So, vote early, vote often (tracked by IP) and force him to make a
speech at a fancy
dinner at GenCon!

Re: ENNIES Voting Open - Vote Early, Vote Often

Brian's job was to put the typos in... ;-)

Also of note is that Gar Hanrahan's Traveller rules for Mongoose
Publishing are up for an award.
