Because it won't let me reply :( (Vaticon)

Hey guys!!!!

So how many people are going to Vaticon tomorrow? I took a look at the
site and noticed that Guitar Hero isn't on the list. What happened
there? Jonesy is crying in her pillow as we speak!!!! She thought she
finally had someone else to play with after I gave up months ago
because she keep beating me. Also is sign up to the other computer
games done on the day or do we need to be at the LAN party tonight?

It's not on the list, but there's 2 guitar controllers sitting in the room
full of stuff which says that it is running! Any computer game tourneys will
have sign up on the day, and there'll be gaming for people who just want to
wander in and play.

Civ Project. (spawn of K2)

Hey!

I've just gotten round to starting my own set this wonderful game and
hit a slight snaffu that only ever seems to happen to me and I'm going
to feel very dumb shortly.

I downloaded the nice shiney map (pdf) and went to try pirnt it but it
will only seem to print either the entire thing on one page (I'd find
plaing that a little difficult) or only the top left corner (while
intresting variant I'm sure civ with just Ireland and the UK might be a
little small).

Any one know where I'm going wrong?

Thanks Guys.

(Feeling dumb in advance)

Seamus.

Re: Civ Project. (spawn of K2)

If you want it printed full size you'll probably need to go to a
specialist printers to get it done. I had a large map done up (poster
sized) by a print place on the quays just down from the O'Connell
bridge, and I think it cost about 30 or 35 euros to do. That was full
colour glossy.

Dunno if you want to spend that much, or even if that's the current
price these days. I had this done about 18 months ago.

Cheers

Re: Trip to Waterford

Yep.

Other people who'd like to ohhh and ahhh over Kath and Micks sprog are
also welcome to stop by and play a few games.

Unfortunatly we don't have space to put you up, but there is the Bolten
House Hostle (although I really don't recomend using it) next door and
The Tower Hotel just across the road. If people are going to join us.

Btw Ash can I get dates for the Brit bank holiday please?

Seamus.

Game Chef, a superb design competition, has just started. This year's
theme is art - a bunch of artists submitted batches of their art.
Designers have to pick a batch (or two) and design a game based around
it.

Closing date is the 27th.

Joe.
