Re: Fwd: World Monopoly

Harrumph..apparently I can reply but can't post to igaming for some
odd Yahoo reason?

We have arranged with the Dublin University Gamers to hold the Irish
NDC for 2008 at their convention, Leprecon, in Dublin on Feb 29th -
March 2nd. 2008

The Irish nationals are part of the European Dip Grand Prix Tour, and
we may have some people over from the continent looking to pick up
'easy' points for the European Championships!

The Leprecon website is at http://www.leprecon.ie/

You can also follow the fortunes of Team Ireland in the Diplomacy
National World Championships on stabberfou.org

I am the NDC organiser and the official point of contact for the Dip
games, and players need to register with me in advance so I know how
many players to prepare for. - I cannot guarantee to fit in people who
drop by on the day

The 4th Dimension is closing its doors.

Hey all,

The 4th Dimension will be closing down at the end of this month. Whilst I
knew that my involvement with the shop was coming to an end, I had hoped to
be able to find someone else to keep the shop open in my absence. That has,
for the moment, proved to be an elusive goal. It has been an incredible
experience for me personally, and I have really enjoyed meeting and chatting
to you all, and there have been alot of you :).

We intend to submit 1 more order to our distributors so if you are looking
for anything in particular now is the time to shout :). If we are holding an
order for you, now would also be a good time to collect it.

In an effort to shift what remaining stock we have we are implementing a
sale of 10% starting immediately on all stock.

Negotiations are continuing behind the scenes in a effort to keep the shop
going, but I have run out have time and have to begin the process
of wrapping things up. I will let ye know if there is a change in the shops
status.

Remember the good stuff always flies out the door the earliest so get your
skates on if you are looking for a good deal.

Hope to see ye all, one more time before the end at Leprecon,

Gav

Pity to hear this. Would you have a last stand at Leprecon?

That is a great pity, but I can understand that you have little choice.

I will continue to hope that the last gasp effort works, but either way, thank
you for all the hard work you've put in and great service you've given the
community over the years.

Thanks,

B.

That's too bad. I've picked up a lot of good games over the years at the shop.

I'll try and pick up a few more over the weekend.

Re: The 4th Dimension is closing its doors.

That's a real shame, Gav, but thanks indeed for the friendly and
cheerful service over the years, not to mention the support 4th
Dimension provided to both the Charity Auction and to Gaelcon itself.

On a personal note, though, this *does* mean I can safely bring my
kids to the southside again without fear of a new CCG being pushed
forward in their direction while I'm not looking... ;-)

So, um, in the tradition of these things... final night drinks?

Awwww - dont go. Where will I spend all my hard earned money?

But if there's time for one more order, I've been meaning to buy
niagara for the longest time... pretty please?
