Dublin Assasin tournament
Passing this on from LJ: Dublin-wide assassination tournament - two main €400 prizes. Hey folks, thought some of you might be interested in this. http://www.ad2007.eu It's a three week long water gun assassination tournament, roughly 150 players (max). At the outset each player is given a 'mark card' containing the details needed to track down their target along with a photo of their intended victim. If a player manages to kill their mark by shooting them with a water pistol they inherit their victims card and go after the next target. But remember, the entire time you're hunting your victim, someone out there is hunting you.. More info and entry forms at the Assassination Dublin 2007 website above.

D&D newbies looking for games
Hi there, I was given this email address to check to see if there was anyone looking for 2 new D&D players. I posted a message on the Merc gaming Yahoo group so I will just copy and paste it here for you too. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone in the Dublin area (we are in the Donnybrook area) that is hosting or wants to host D&D games for 2 newbies. We have played one game (at Gaelcon 2006) and we were hooked, but the person that was supposed to get us involved stopped playing and kinda lost contact with us. We were both at K2 this year but no-one was playing D&D (although we did love playing WOW CCG and I enjoyed the games of Call of Cthulla and Game of Thrones that I played) In case you are wondering who we are, for those that were there, we were the ones that won the quiz along with Patrick (don't know his surname). So I hope to hear from someone soon. You can email me at katmouse99 <at> yahoo. com(Continue reading)
