vampire playtest

I'll be doing my playtest for the Gaelcon vampire scenario this tuesday in
Mercantile pub on Dame street. There will be around 2/3 places for extra
players. Its an old 3rd ed game called 'Blade V Nos'. More details at the
gaelcon website. tad

Indie-RPGs at Gaelcon

Hi,

As I mentioned here before, there's going to be a load of short demos
of indie games at Gaelcon. The timetable is now ready, and may appear
on the main site soon. In the meantime it's available at:
http://www.cthulahoops.org/gig.html

It should be fun,
Adam.

Game group in greater Belfast area?

...though I'd travel a good bit further afield....

Tried TableTopNorth but there's not much happening there these days -
unsurprising really. Anyone interested in a gaming group North of the
Border? MY genres are Superhero and Horror mainly though I'd turn my
hand to anything, GM or player.

Would just like the gaming fix to be more than once a month......

You might try the Northern Wasters group.

Their forum is on

Wasters are more wargaming than RPGs (to my knowledge). Is there a
gaming society still in Queens? They ought to be able to hook someone
up with a local group.

DS is very insular these days, not surprising it's a college group
(though Q-CON in June was apparently very god). TTN is quiet. I think
it's very much gone to seed in home-based groups these ays.

Re: Re: Game group in greater Belfast area?

I got the impression (rightly or wrongly) that QUB Dragonslayers seemed to
be a very friendly and welcoming lot. Q-con was fantastic (and I'll
definatley be re-visiting given a fraction of a chance.)

Not all University socs are insular. I know that TCD Gamers welcome all and
sundry to our events, because we feel that the more the merrier.

Anyway. that's probably more than 2 cents worth of thinking (my time is
precious), but you can have it for that.
