If you translate the empty string this happens. This is a "feature" of
gettext. Obviously we should not do it.

But the first entry of every po file is such an entry. There is a reason why
it exists in the first place, not?

1.14.1 translations

1.14.1 will be released very shortly. There was a new translatable
string added: a rarely-occurring error message. Translate it ASAP if
you have time, but don't worry if you miss it.

Some distributions and binary builds may use the stable branch rather
than the 1.14.1 tarball for their builds, so even if you miss 1.14.1 you
can still translate it and get some benefit.

This feature gives you the ability to access that information from
within the program. Still, I'm not sure why they did it that way.
