www.freeciv.org translatable

This is just an update to say that I haven't done anything. Sorry.

We will have to do some experiments with gettext for the website. I want
to do this but I have delayed it until I finish some more urgent work
on civserver.freeciv.org. This will be finished in a couple of days.

I also want to start validating the pages with a HTML checker.
Last week I checked some pages with tidy, and removed the worst errors.
But a lot more needs to be done. Ideally, all translatable text
should be moved out of the <?php ... ?> sections, into the HTML part,
or into separate source files such as screenshots.xml and the News files.
and the PHP code doesn't contain any. Then we can use a HTML parser
to extract the strings for use with gettext.

Furthermore, I want to start using the new bug tracking system,

I, japanese translator, get a new member to translate.
He whose name is MITA Yuusuke gave me his translation twice, and I
commited already.
Can he get his own cvs account? I and he hope to get it.

name: MITA Yuusuke
mail: clefs@...
id: clefs (if he can get cvs account)

regard.

Easy. You can login using ssh and use the passwd command.

Translation status on the beta branch

	Hi all!

I'm writing this mail to freeciv-dev and freeciv-i18n ML, but in the
hope to reaching all the head translator for the various po file I have
CCed this mail to the people in the localization page.

Thus I apologize with people receaving this twice or more.
And also to people not any more involved in the project
(btw you can use this time to have your email deleted from the
localizion page in the freeciv.org webserver)

I want to submit the status of actual beta branch .po files:

da.po
2078 translated messages
361 fuzzy translations
496 untranslated messages

de.po
2932 translated messages
1 fuzzy translation
2 untranslated messages

en_GB.po
40 translated messages
4 fuzzy translations
2891 untranslated messages

es.po

The de.po team kind of refuses to translate the words "riflery" and
"milling", because we have no reasonable idea of their meaning in the
context of a Freeciv technology in the History ruleset, even after putting
this for discussion on Freeciv-Data.

Your CVS access is via ssh (CVSROOT is :ext:...) and the password is
the password for your account; you can log in with ssh and then use
the passwd command to change it.
