Will this list be used?

I was wondering if this list is (will be) used for 2142 and Bad Company2.

It seems pretty dead.

Re: Will this list be used?

I don't have a problem with using it, unless they want to create a new one
but this one is already so old...

Re: Will this list be used?

I will assume a private trusted partner list will be used for Bad Company 2 since there are no server files for the public:

--------
Public Server Files: We will not distribute these publicly. There are many factors for why we have decided this with the biggest factor being security & integrity of our game & Dedicated Servers.
----

-------
And no public files for both Beta & Retail.

----

-------
Yes, server rentals are available through our partners and on our dedicated servers. Won't release the server code.

Re: Will this list be used?

Only way to get into that list is to come a trusted partner.

Next you will ask how to come a trusted partner, right?

Well I would say that you can't. They won't take any new partners. But
is you still think that you need to be on that list and you are game
server provider, then my suggest is that you will contact your local EA
and ask what they think or are they willing to help.

They have new policy and it goes like this:
"Don't call us, we call you"

BF2 Start Script?

Hello everybody, I know BF2 is super old now but we are looking to setup a server, I have all the files in place but I can’t figure out what to use to start it.  I’m running Linux and using Webmin to start/stop the servers.  Anybody have a start script they are using in Webmin to start/restart and stop the server in screen?  Thank you in advance!

Hi

Used to starting screen and bf2 with "screen -dmS bf2_1 ./start.sh +game
BF2 +statusMonitor 1"

Can send you the whole server setup if you need it.

Cheers
Oli
