I am just completely at the end of my tether with the incompetent, dishonest, cheating, mealy-mouthed
so-called media company that supplies my broadband, telephone and cable televison services. I won't go
into too much detail, I'm sure you've all experienced similar, but to call Virgin/NTL a shambles would be
an insult to shambles.
Anyway. I've just instructed my bank to cancel the direct debit order I have for my broadband service after
they cheerfully advised me by e-mail that they are, once again, set to take double the amount of money from
my account as they're entitled to and finding impossible to contact them through their so-called
Customer Service line, and I've e-mailed them telling Richard Branson where he can stick it. I'm not
having these morons helping themselves to money from my account when I can't even get on to them to sort it out.
I can't live without broadband. But I'm sure there are lots of alternative providers; as there must be for my
t.v. and telephone. But if they do pull the plug on me, in between soring out a new ISP for myself, I may have to
submit orders and exchange (very much truncated, unfortunately) diplomacy from a friends service,
