Clarification about boxeditor

Good afternoon,

if you may I need some clarification about the use of boxeditor

from your page:

boxes can only be connected with vertical or horizontal sides”

If I open the OpenQuest room 1 with boxeditor (see box_1.jpg) I see trapezoidal boxes not only rectangles

“Each box also defines the scaling and Z plane to use for actors inside it”

How the connection is made? If I select Plan 2 more than 1 box appear (see box_2.jpg) and how do I select a box in one click?

This tool allow you to define the boxes in your room in a graphical manner and to name them for easy reffering in the scripts.”

No name seems to appear when clicking on differents nodes. But the problem seems to know how to select a box in on  click.

Thank you for your help.

Boxes don't have to be rectangles. But if you want to connect two
boxes, that is allow characters to walk from one box to the other, the
common edge must be vertical or horizontal.

The planes toggle button just control which planes are shown by the
editor. When a node is selected, the parameters for its box appear in
the "Box parameters" section and you can edited them there.

To select a whole box: shift+left click.

You must enter a name yourself. You don't need to select a whole box to
edit its parameter, one of its node is enough.
