The 2010 Rio Grande Games Design Contest - hosting sites listed

The Chicago Toy and Game Fair ( www.chitag.com) is hosting a design competition for Rio Grande Games. Jay
Tummelson, owner of Rio Grande Games, will be sitting down privately with each finalist selected and
reviewing their prototypes at the Chicago Toy and Game Fair.

Jay has committed to publishing at least one of the games presented to him. Jay will also provide each
designer with his advice and expertise on improving their designs for publication. Last year, Jay
selected *four* of the finalists for publication, very exciting!

Another resource for printing cards

The print shop Arts Cow will print a 52-card deck where you give me all the art for both sides and it doesn't
have to have standard suits or denominations.
Check out http://www.artscow.com/photo-gifts/Card/Multi-purpose-Cards-Rectangle-394
I use TheGameCrafter.com, which provides other items and services besides printing cards, but ArtsCow
beats them on price for the one service they provide.

I also have to plug my TheGameCrafter game, Soaps, which is available at http://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/soaps.

Conquer the Kings

Hey all,

www.conquerthekings.com

Check out my game I created, Copyrighted and manufactured all in the USA, I got the chess pieces from China
(were about half the price than getting them here in the states) but was able to find a local company in GA to
produce the game, the game box and cardboard pieces. Plus was able to get 500 made instead of the 5,000
(usual min) for an overseas purchase. All in all it cost me about $18 a game to make. Not as cheap as you would
get if you went overseas but for only 500 to test out an idea it is not that bad. Any questions please send my
way.

Go to the pictures section to see the game being made in the factory....
