Re: VASL

Hello;

I haven't played VASL in about a decade. I was trying to get back into it and I keep getting the same error
"Unable to launch..."

Any suggestions or help - please.

I've always used the local install as well, now with VASL 5.9.2 running
  under VASSAL, it runs sweet!

  Get the VASL module here:

Re: VASL

Yep, you have to download the new VASSAL exe (3.1.14 or some such) and then you have to look for the module ASL
on the new VASL web page, click the pink link to get VASL 5.9.2 unzip it and there is a VASL mod load that via the
new VASSAL exe.

Go here:
VASSAL Engine

Click on modules and scroll down to A search for ASL and click it
ASL web page

Now click the pink text down load module here and click on 5.9.2
VASL Mod

You'll still have to go to the new site for the new geo boards
New Geo Boards (I think)
Best Regards~

Hi,

I've complemented the Q&A files from Game Squad with PDF files of Scott
Romanowski’s Q&A files (version 22, March 2005) and a link to the Q&A
collection
on dicetower.com.

These additions are at the same place as the GS Q&A files:
http://www.klasm.com/index.html (direct-link:

Regards,
Klas

Re: Q&A files

Thanks for doing this Klas. I'm thinking of making a link to this sticky on
the GS Forums.

Banzai!! 15.2 Is Now Available for Free Download

The latest version of the Texas ASL newsletter, Banzai!! v15.2, is now
available for free download!

We've got a great issue of Banzai!! coming your way. Matt Shostak gives us his
first impressions on BFPs Blood and Jungle. In a followup to his interview in
issue 15.1 of Banzai!!, Dave Kleinschmidt gives a rundown of his favorite
scenarios. For those looking for a good refresher on pillboxes (and don't we
all), Zeb Doyle takes us around the finer points of dealing with them. I
report on the results of the 18th Annual Texas Team Tournament which was held
the end of June, we throw in a few rules references and tactical tips, give a
briefing on the details about the upcoming Thunderbird Tournament, and wrap it
all up with those tales of the interesting and unique that make this game a
blast. Hopefully you'll enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed pulling it all
together for you.

Check it out and download it from our club website www.texas-asl.com .

Rick
