Emacs for C compiler

Hi

I am trying to use Emacs for programming C, but I dont know how to compile it. Could you please tell me how to
compile it? Another question would be is Emacs like turbo C? This means that there is a window that could
show me the compiling results. This is the first time for using C compiler for linux/unix. Before I use
turbo C.

Thank you

Mark

new mode for cfengine

This is a new, currently Emacs 21-specific, mode for editing
configuration files for GNU cfengine. See the commentary for
differences. (It was contributed to cfengine, but hasn't been
included in the distribution.)

auto-capitalization minor mode

Some time ago I posted code fragments to do auto-capitalization using
the abbrev mechanism. Here is a trivial minor mode to do the job,
with examples in the commentary.
