23.0.50; latest change to blackbox.el breaks the game

The following change in revision 1.26 of blackbox.el causes breakage:

After this change, bb-up and bb-down move to the beginning of the line,
no matter where point was before.  That renders blackbox pretty much
unplayable. :-(

I've checked in a fix, please retry.

Hello!

After updating I get in shell:

	  Does Emacs use X toolkit scroll bars?                   yes
	
	configure: creating ./config.status
	sed: 1: "s/.*%!_!# !%!_!#  _%!_! ...": unterminated substitute pattern
	configure: error: could not make ./config.status

config.log has:

23.0.50; carbon build from cvs, blink-cursor-mode causes emacs to become unresponsive

Fresh cvs checkout, fresh build using "./make-package --self-contained
--compressed-dist".  This is a Carbon app on OS X 10.5.1.

Using blink-cursor-mode in an attempt to disable the blinking cursor
causes emacs to quickly become unresponsive.  How blink-cursor-mode is
called doesn't seem to matter: (blink-cursor-mode -1) in .emacs,
Options -> Blinking Cursor, and M-x blink-cursor-mode all cause this
problem.

In GNU Emacs 23.0.50.1 (i386-apple-darwin9.1.0, Carbon Version 1.6.0)
 of 2007-12-01 on zelda.local
Windowing system distributor `Apple Inc.', version 10.5.1

bootstrap'?

describe-key fails

Typing "C-h k x" to try to find out what "x" is bound to fails:

Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument stringp t)
  describe-function-1(self-insert-command)
  describe-key("x" 1 nil)
  call-interactively(describe-key)

The same happens whichever key sequence I try to describe.

I've tried a "make bootstrap" but the problem persists.
