Initial Comment:
When connecting several accounts at once, it sometimes happens that one of them finish authentication
before another one (big surprise, isn't it?) and then proceeds to send initial presence on _all_
accounts.  This disturbs the accounts that are still authenticating.

The right fix is probably to make jabber-send-presence not send presence over nonauthenticated
accounts.  And also, `jabber-send-default-presence' is the wrong function in
`jabber-post-connect-hooks', as the current presence might not be the default.  There should be a
function for resending the current presence, or something.

Initial Comment:
Disconnect from an account, wait for one of the formerly online contacts to go offline, and reconnect - that
contact still appears as online, as presence data is not reset on disconnection (or maybe connection).

Given my intended (temporary) design restriction of not having the same contacts in several active
accounts, it would be reasonable to clear the symbol plist of all JID symbols gotten through the initial
roster push.  (The manual/README/whatever should probably state this restriction clearly, too)

Connections can fail for various reasons, e.g. server is down, you mistyped username or hostname, etc. 
Therefore, automatic reconnection should only happen if we once had a successful connection,
authenticated and all.

With e.g. newer versions of ejabberd, we have only 5 seconds or something to return a filled-out account
registration form before our connection is cut.  We could handle this gracefully, by seamlessly
reconnecting only when the user has filled out the form.

27 Dec 2007 I updated jabber.el to cvs 1.74. On connection, messages in minibuffer say that all my contacts
loaded, but the roster is empty. Hitting 'g' dont work in roster buffer. :-(
