Great. I added some more markup (stuff that only matters in the
printed version), and a couple of <at> xrefs instead of "See ...".

gnus-dired-mode keybinding

In XEmacs (dired package v1.12) C-c C-f is already a keybinding in
dired-mode-map:

,----
| C-c C-f runs `dired-do-find-marked-files'
|
| `dired-do-find-marked-files' is an interactive compiled Lisp function
| -- loaded from "dired"
| (dired-do-find-marked-files &optional ARG)
|
| Documentation:
| find the marked (or next ARG) files into xemacs.
`----

gnus-dired-mode-map overrides it. Perhaps, we should change C-c C-f to
smth other.

No, no. `pop' is very clear and nice. And the byte-code optimizer
will (or should :-) fix everything so that the byte code of the two
should be identical.

Uhm... doesn't look like it. :-)

Yes. I've now removed it again.

It's a fairly obscure header even in mail, so I think we'll just let
Gnus 5.10 not generate it in those instances where Emacs crashed
between you typing `F' and `C-c C-c'.

But is there any way to shut up the compiler in Emacs 21.3?

Yup. Fix in Oort Gnus v0.20 (i. e., CVS).

This might have something to do the the changes in gnus-open-server,
which I've now reverted...

So you can't mark this article as expirable?
