In which version this has been added?
I can't find it in 0.97 ?!

Aaah, I just took a look at message.el and noticed that the
variable is named "message-forward-ignored-headers" instead of
"message-ignored-forward-headers" there.

Problems with Mailcrypt & PGnus 0.97

Hi!

I just switched from PGnus 0.95 to 0.97 and was really happy
that viewing messages containing HTML works fine now here.

But now I had to notice that PGP-encrypting mails with Mailcrypt 3.5.4
doesn't work anymore. :-(
When trying to encrypt a message I always get:
"Cannot open load file: timer".

Any ideas?

This has nothing to do with Gnus.

You are using XEmacs, which does not have the FSF Emacs timer facility. Youq
did not use the configure script that comes with Mailcrypt, so FSF-timer.el
was not installed. Use the configure script, read the INSTALL file, and
rebuild Mailcrypt. It should work after you do that.

Hey ho, hey ho, off to America we¹ go

So, I'm flapping my wings over to the US today, and will be gone for
two weeks. I'll probably be checking my mail, but I probably won't
answer any. (Not that that's going to be a great change, you know.)

I'll be in SF for about ten days (and I'll be attending the Lisp User
Group Meeting), so maybe we could get togetha for something?

Problem with posting-styles in 0.97

It messes up my mail headers!

At least in 0.84 I could have a separate entry for mail, but now I get
several unwanted headers that mail composing inherits from the settings of
the current newsgroup.

And isn't it possible to have ("mail-copies-to" nil) in some groups?

And while I'm at it: I'm "mentioned" in Sams Teach Yourself Emacs in 24
Hours on page 328. Great book! :)

This is _really_ strange - because it works fine with PGnus 0.95!
(Without timer.el installed by Mailcrypt!)

I just build Mailcrypt again - using the configure script as before.
The strange thing is that configure says that I have timer.el but I
can't find it anywhere on my system. So Mailcrypt did _not_ install
timer.el. After changing the name of "timer" in "configure.in" to
"timar" the timer.el was build (because "timar" was not found, of
couse) and installed and encryption works again now.

Hm, `¹' in the Subject line wasn't encoded properly in the copy of
your mail I got.

I can't reproduce it though (previewing this article reveal that it
will DTRT and use QP).

Was it becuase your mail was a news article too?

Hi!

After fixing the problem with PGP *en*cryption I had after switching
from 0.95 to 0.97 (timer.el) I now have a problem with
*de*cryption. :-((

When trying to decrypt a message I always get
"Found no encrypted message in this buffer."

Any ideas?

hotmail?

Digging through the archives reveals that this subject has come up
more than once, but I didn't get a clear sense of the current
state of affairs.

Is it possible to read hotmail from pgnus?
