Re: Query regarding emacs compilation errors.

Was this problem with compiling emacs-bidi-0.9.1 on fedora ever solved?

I have the same problem on fedora 10 and fedora 11. I'll appreciate any
advice.

Thanks.

Not yet. We are trying to upgrade it.

Compilation error 0.9.1

Hi

Regarding this thread: http://www.nabble.com/Query-regarding-emacs-compilation-errors.-td17102487.html

For your information, just wanted to say that the (second) compilation error, is also apparent on my linux desktop - Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04

Try the following commands after the segmentation fault caused by
"make".

$ cd src
$ setarch i386 -R ./temacs --batch --load loadup dump

I found this workaround in the etc/PROBLEMS file. I have just tried
this method on Fedora 11 and Ubuntu 9.04. It worked.
