pdfpages.el

For some reason, I can't get the TeX-arg-key-val to be recognized by
emacs; it complains about a void-symbol.

For reference, the copyright forms were accepted, and sent back to me
with email, so I guess you can safely start including some of the style
files I've been submitting

Yes, I just noticed  I should hope that at least a few of the files I
submitted required very little editing of the elisp code.

Will you add my fix to graphicx.el as well to support
\DeclareGraphicsExtension and \DeclareGraphicsRule as well? They're
mentioned in the manual.

One last thing, I have some code for algorithmicx (including
algpseudocode), but stopped working on it. Can you give me some hints
how to control the indentation automatically like the package requires
(or at least how to make it pleasant to read the pseudo-code in LaTeX).
I skimmed through the other style files, but didn't find anything useful.

Thanks for the info.  I've now added lettrine.el and multicol.el to the
CVS repository.  After reviewing them it became apparent that they
required some changes.  I'll look at the other files in the coming days
and weeks.  If those require changes as well, this might take some time.

Biber support in Auctex

Greetings,
  I'm the current developer of biber, which is the main backend of the biblatex package. I was wondering about
how desirable it seems to add biber support to auctex? biblatex/biber use is currently rapidly expanding
since biber was added to TeXLive and I think it's fairly fair to say that biblatex/biber is set to become the
default for users doing bibliographies in LaTeX in the future since its current and planned feature set is
certainly beyond anything that can be done in plain bibtex. This seems to me to make it at least attractive
to have AucTeX support biber natively. I have tried to keep the biber warnings/errors format the same as
bibtex in the main so it's possible to add auctex support to some extent by defining a few variables. This
works reasonably but it would be better to have it properly integrated with auctex. This would require
some message parsing, the ability to pass certain flags automatically to biber would also be nice. I'm
afraid I'm a fairly amateur lisp programmer these days and all of my "spare" time for programming is spent
on biber anyway.

Hi,

Great work, inverse search works out of the box, and I'm now able to
ctrl-click in evince and get to the right location in emacs. Thanks!

I haven't been able to make direct search work, though. Doc says

Forward search happens automatically upon calling the viewer, e.g. by
typing C-c C-v (TeX-view). This will open the viewer or bring it to
front and display the output page corresponding to the position of point
in the source file. AUCTeX will automatically pass the necessary command
line options to the viewer for this to happen.

But that doesn't work using evince and (setq TeX-source-correlate-method
'synctex) (it always gets to the first page, and calls evince with -p 1
for some reason). Any pointers?
