al-Watan

Dear friends,

Do any of you use a vendor other than Gulf Newspaper Distribution Company
for your library's subscription to the Kuwaiti newspaper al-Watan?

Thanks for your help.

Re: al-Watan

The Kuwaiti newspaper al-Watan is distributed free by the
Kuwaiti Embassy in D.C. If you can show them that you have a
good number of Kuwaiti students. Here at the University of
Arizona, we receive several Kuwaiti and Saudi newspapers free.

RE: MELA meeting

I have just made booking at the Best Western Skyline Inn on "I" Street
SW, supposedly 2 miles from Georgetown University. Can anyone tell me
whether it is unadvisable to stay in a hotel in this part of Washington?

Thanks,

Hikmat
