Linux Terminal Server Pilot Project

Dear friends,

Since long I have not let myself be heard in CIS. Now's time for a change.

The past two years I have relentlessly tried to implement Linux Terminal
Server in Schools in Curacao and Bonaire. All I have to show for at the
moment is a Pilot Project, which can teach us valuable lessons.

In fact, political forces are slowing progress. However, many different
groups and individuals have shown interest and I am confident that one
day you will see lot's of LTSP installations on our islands.

I would also very much like you to read the document which you can find on
http://www.suares.an/file/9 (is it a pdf file). I will make an
introductionary page later today.

I would welcome your comments.

Many greetings,

Ace Suares

I noticed when I went to the printer and first repaited their winxp
network and then still couldn't print the document.

I will try to fix this now.

Re: Linux Terminal Server Pilot Project

Okay, People,

I uploaded a new version that seems to work correctly.

Apparently OpenOffice doesn't export it's drawings in a good manner - I
meand the little yellow pyramid that I made with the drawing functions. I
took a snapshot (with ksnapshot) and now inserted the pyramid as a jpg.

That seems to work.

Sorry for the confusion.

Still, please tell me what you think :-)

Ace

PS I als uploaded the .sxw, it's in file/10
