Re: WDSC/WDSC AE V7.0.0.8 iFix001 available

I've downloaded the fix and it fixed my user actions. I don't know if this
is related, but I can't display my library list using the library list
filter in my main filter pool for my DBCS partition connection. It works
fine in the SBCS partition connection. Just started with the 7.0.0.6.

The error is "Operation failed with exception 'Exception
java.lang.NullPointerException'".

Is anyone else having this problem with their DBCS connections?

Thanks,
Matt

Copy paste from one lpar to another

Hi,

I just discovered that I can copy a source member from one machine to another with WDSc.

As most of my colleagues are old greenscreeners and we no longer have DDM file authority, I feel quite priviliged!

Now I wonder what will happen if I try drag and drop on a PF with a few million lines....

Re: Copy paste from one lpar to another

It won't work for anything but a source file / member, IIRC.

Array index out of range

I'm using RDi V7.5.0.2, when I launch the application diagram viewer on a
program with a lot of subroutines, I get the following error message:
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index out of range: 1 at

com.ibm.etools.iseries.application.collector.rpgle.RPGLECollector.populateCallableBocks(Unknown
Source), but when I use RDi V7.1.0.3 with the same program, the
application diagram viewer works just fine. Any ideas if this is a bug or
a settings issue?

How do you re-sequence lines in the source when saving source in WDSC or does it re-sequence automatically?

Re: How do you re-sequence lines in the source when saving source in WDSC or does it re-sequence automatically?

In version 7.0.0.4, open Windows->Preferences, then drill down to Remote
Systems->Remote Systems LPEX Editor. There should be a checkbox there
to toggle this behaviour. Mine is off, and this appears to be the
default setting.

RDi 7.1 - Snippets dissappeared

Hi everyone,

For some strange reason my RSE perspective has reset itself and while trying to re-customise it I have found
that the snippets view seems to be missing. When I upgraded from WDSC to RDi I migrated my workspace and the
snippets came with it, but now I can't open the snippets view.

Can anyone tell me how to get my snippets view back?

Best regards,
