Umm. No. But I should have! Thank you!
Evidently I needed a firm push.
Thanks to David too for suggesting same.
A great community is Textmate. Wiki not so good. lol!
I see some line I copy blind from wiki causes the problem.
http://wiki.macromates.com/Reference/FolderSpecificSettings
   ::::     include = "{.tm_properties,.htaccess}"
Maybe not a good idea to include .tm_properties in .tm_properties. YMMV.
This line may cause TM2 to write this "{{*.{o,pyc},Icon" in the titlebar.

I'd be interested to see more .tm_prop files, to learn more about what
can be done in them.
Are people sharing them somewhere?

Thank you to everyone.

Re: TM2 using lots of CPU

I had the same problem several times. Would it help if I sample the process too ?

Crash when duplicating a file

I came across this issue this morning. I was trying to duplicate a file
in the sidebar, but each time (I tried three times just to be sure it
wasn't a fluke), TM crashed with the following report:

http://pastie.textmate.org/private/k0q4vwumsm6zpfdchbg3mq

I am running TM 2 rev. 9090 on OS X 10.7.3

Re: Crash when duplicating a file

I think this was a known issue, and is fixed in 9113?

From the release notes:

"Fix file browser crash when duplicating files which had a suffix one character longer than the base name."

David.

Re: Crash when duplicating a file

Well, this might be the same issue, but the specifics of that note don't fit my observed problem, as the file I was trying to duplicate has a base name of 7 characters, and the suffix (I'm assuming that means the file extension, such as php in my case) is only 3 (or 4 if you count the period).

Odd that TM hasn't alerted me to an update though...I'll see if I can update and try it again.

Keyboard shortcut being ??7 on a US keymap?

Yep. shift + command + 7 (standard HTML bundle default shortcut) on US keyboard. Sorry for the late reply... Didn't notice yours until now :)

I was wrong.
This is the line that causes the problems:

windowTitle = "$TM_DISPLAYNAME — ${CWD/^.*\///}"

Cheers,

[TM2] No filenames shown in tabs

I have an odd problem whereby all tabs, instead of showing the name of the
file, are blank.

http://old.nabble.com/file/p33763410/Screen%2BShot%2B2012-05-03%2Bat%2B13.16.24.png

I've tried completely uninstalling TM2 (deleted everything in
~/Library/Application Support/TextMate and
~/Library/Preferences/com.macromates.*), but it hasn't helped. I don't have
a ~/.tm_properties file.

When I run TM2 on the same machine as a different user, I don't have this
problem.

There must be a rogue preferences file lurking somewhere - what am I
missing?

Thanks
Adam

TM2: Keyboard shortcut Bundles window

Hi,

in TM1 the keyboard shortcut ctrl+esc would bring up a free floating version of the Bundles item in the menu
bar which was really nice for accessing bundle commands just with the keyboard. I have not been able to
recreate this behavior in TM2, am I right in assuming that it is completely gone (which afaic would be a shame)?

Regards,

Carsten
