Strange, I haven't seen this link the other day, when I updated the
French file to 2.20 version. Maybe I just missed it.
I tried to rename my locale.fr.properties (2) to remove the (2) part,
but upon completion, it told me I haven't the right to do so, even if
the file was mine (or so it said...).
So I just deleted it and re-uploaded it...

   At this point SciTE does not have your changed PATH. Restart SciTE
and it will see the new PATH.

   PLAT_WIN is automatically defined by SciTE when running on Windows.

Colours for fold symbols

Hello everyone,

Currently fold symbols have no colour options defined. I add two
options to support this:

#fold.symbols.fore=#FFFFFF
#fold.symbols.back=#808080

Here is the patch, maybe it will be useful for some users who want to
customize fold symbol colours:

diff -r 6aac9d7b17e2 src/SciTEGlobal.properties
--- a/src/SciTEGlobal.properties	Sat Jul 31 13:39:57 2010 +1000

 fold.compact=1
 fold.flags=16
 fold.symbols=1
+#fold.symbols.fore=#FFFFFF
+#fold.symbols.back=#808080
 #fold.on.open=1
 fold.comment=1
 fold.preprocessor=1
diff -r 6aac9d7b17e2 src/SciTEProps.cxx

Apparently, they are hard at work fixing this issue, in an official
Help Forum posting dated May 25. Ha ha.

It has been suggested to me to change filenames. But for now I'll just
roll my eyes and say some unkind things about Google out loud. Also,
Google points us to use Google Sites in the meantime, in the May 25
posting.

Which is a bummer, since I want to move some SciTE/Lua stuff of mine
there and it doesn't work for me now...

Re: sidebar for gtk

ok, i've got it...

files section does not work again, so i've uploaded it externally:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-2716128/lua_gui.zip.html

scite-sourcecode-patch:
LuaExtension.cxx: search for th 2 sections "GetSidebarHandle" (start,
end)
SciteGTK.cxx: all changes are marked with "Sidebar" (start,end,change)

lua-file has to be included like this from startup-script:
dofile(props["SciteUserHome"].."/Desktop/gui.lua")

properties:
sidebar.show=[0|1]
sidebar.width=[int]

currently only tab-adding (and tab deletion on init) implemented, but
its a working start ;) maybe anybody is interested in.

regards Frank

   There are various facilities like MediaWiki available from
SourceForge if you want an admin account. SourceForge facilities are
just as likely to have problems as Google but there is a better chance
of reaching a human.

   I was thinking of writing a web application on Google AppEngine for
translations since translations are unusual: there is not much
commonality as most people are interested in just their language so
its a poor match for a mailing list. SciTE translations are easy to
check for spam since they have to include most of the base
locale.properties. GAE costs money after some initial free daily
capacity but some advertising would probably cover that.

   LaunchPad has a translation feature but its heavily based on
GetText and its file formats. If anyone thinks they could work out how
to use LaunchPad to manage SciTE translation well ...

   Um. Is this the same Jingcheng Zhang who wanted more properties to
be defined per-language? ;-)

Re: sidebar for gtk

because this thread gets very long (maybe not many people are
interested in this) i've created a new googlecode-project for this.

http://scite-gui.googlecode.com

Steve, i've added you as developer
i need some help with the callback-routines ;) can you explain me your
code regarding to this?

Yes :-)
I'm reading the code to learn more about SciTE. At this time I can only add global options, and I hope I can add some language-specific options on styles after reading the code.

automatically. also

When i do try to import it says this
