pdfedit-news archive on sourceforge doesn't work

Hi again,
Just thought I'd point out that links to posts in the pdfedit-news
archive on sourceforge don't work.

When did you experience this problem?
I have tried it just now
(http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=pdfedit-news)
and it works for me.

Re: pdfedit-news archive on sourceforge doesn't work

You're right - if I follow your link.

OK, it is the same for the other list archives as well. If I navigate
to them by clicking on the (Archive) link at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfedit/support, then they don't work
(notice you end up at a url like this
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=28394), where the
links don't work. If you click on the mailing list name, and then click
on the link to the archive on the next page, it will work.

Strange. It works for me (note that I am not logged in currently to
sf.net).

This link works for me.

Re: pdfedit-news archive on sourceforge doesn't work

So you go to that link and then click a post and it works?
Weird.

I'm not logged in either.

FWIW here's the error message:

Pdfshuffler - pygtk program for document assembly type work

Hi everyone - I came across this pygtk application the other day. Its
interface is a lot better than pdfedit for the type of document assembly
work that I know a lot of people use pdfedit for (combining pdfs and
rearranging and rotating and deleting pages, especially more than one at
a time), but it can't delve into the insides of a pdf like pdfedit does.

It might be helpful to users if the homepages of the two applications
link to each other?

Ahhh, now I know what you mean. I thought that you weren't able to get
even to the list of posts. I am not able to see any post as well. I will
report that to the sf.net.

Thanks for reporting.

P.S.
Please don't top post when answering emails, it makes whole
communication rather messy. Thanks.

Re: Pdfshuffler - pygtk program for document assemblytype work

The only thing is that you can't run it in windows at the moment as it
depends on pypoppler, and I can't find a windows build of that.

The issue is reported. FWIW I don't see this problem when I am logged in
to sf.net. Let's see what support team come up with.

[SPAM] Problem when Deleting Pages ver 4.3

Developers,
I compiled pdfedit-0.4.3 after finding a BUG in a previous version located in the Ubuntu 8.04.3 repos.

Version 4.3 has the same problem when I DELETE PDF pages.

Here is how to test for the problem:

1.  Open any PDF document.
2.  Scroll to page #2 and DELETE that page.
3.  Scroll to page #4 and DELETE that page.
4.  Scroll to Page #6 and DELETE that page.
5.  The program ABRUPTLY exits with no warning, and no chance to save your work.

A previous version in the Ubuntu 8.04.3 repos would only let me DELETE one single page,
and on any ATTEMPT to delete the second page it would ABRUPTLY exit .

Let me know if it does this when you test for the problem?

Thanks.

Larry Kraemer
