Re: diagram view
Hi Linus, See Options->Preferences -- Editor / Diagram for standalone and Window->Preferences -- oXygen / Editor / Diagram for the Eclipse plugin. Re: disable TOC
Hi Chip, Sorry for the late reply, we were very busy today and this question has more to do with DocBook than with oXygen. The good news is that we are planning a better support for XSLT parameters. Not only that oXygen will detect the parameters as it does now but it will present the default value and documentation for each parameter. Tomorrow morning I will open a request for enhancement with exactly this issue on DocBook and I have positive feedback that the DocBook stylesheets parameters will be documented. This will help you find easily while browsing through the DocBook parameters that generate.toc is responsable for generating the TOC. Re: disable TOC
Thanks, I got a reply earlier on the docbook mailing list about the parameter generate.toc, and that works fine. FWIW, another suggestion might be a right-click list of tags that are pertinent to what is being worked on, for example: I'm in a <section></section> and a right-click would bring up all the tags available for use inside that <section></section>. Same for inside the <para></para>, etc. Something like that would be especially useful to the new user, as I am. Even with all the docs on the web, and the docbook manual, most, if not all, of those are written with the experienced user in mind, or at someone who has some level of experience. Anyway, thanks for the reply, Chip George Cristian Bina <george@...> wrote on 08/08/2005 12:59:44 PM: > Hi Chip, > > Sorry for the late reply, we were very busy today and this question has > more to do with DocBook than with oXygen. Hello Chip, The XML Refactoring "Surround with" actions, the Model view, the Attributes view and the tag insight assistant support new users and also experienced users to edit their documents quickly. For example inside a <section></section> element a right-click will pop up the contextual menu where you will find the action XML Refactoring -> Surround with which presents all the possible child elements of section in a submenu. The action Surround with tag (CTRL + E) will present the same elements in a combo box that autocompletes the name of the element after you type the first characters. The action Surround with <X> (CTRL + /) will repeat the last Surround with action. http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-standalone-en/XML-editor-specific-actions.html#XML-refactoring-actions When the cursor is placed inside an element the Model view/the(Continue reading)

an extra blank page in the .pdf output
When I create a .pdf from my file I get an extra page that contains only a horizontal line at the top and bottom of the page. This page is always the 3rd page of the document - 1st page - Cover page or Title page 2nd page - Copyright page 3rd page - empty except for two horizontal lines 4th page onwards - chapter 1 and onwards Is the mostly blank page supposed to be there? If not, what do I do to get rid of it? I just noticed that the toc is not appearing on the page, could this page be a blank toc? JavaApplicationStub
Just wondering what this class/application is doing. I find that it routinely uses between 10-20% of my CPU (according to the Mac Activity Monitor) even when I am not doing anything in Oxygen. Not a particularly big deal. Just wondering. Running oxygen 6.1 on Mac dual g5 osx 10.3.9 Linus
