The highlight plugin does not highlight properly when
using the soft-wrapping with width 0 (i.e. wrap to
window size) in the 4.3pre versions.

Summary: hitting return after collapsed fold

Initial Comment:
with explicit folding on, place the cursor on the end
of a line containing a collapsed fold and hit return.
The fold arrow turns, but the folded text is not
displayed. Collapse and expand the fold and the folded
text as well as any newly entered text will be displayed.

Other names for the XML mode ?

Hi,

in my current efforts for a syntax that's called OQMath which
encompasses XML except for mathematical formulae, I stumbed accross an
annoying facet: I have declared a new mode so that math is
highlighteed. A very simple modification of the XML mode.

Now... the mode works fine but it's not called XML anymore so the XML
plugin (and maybe some others) don't react anymore (e.g press "<" then
"/" to close the tag).

Is it possible to "register a mode name" with the XML plugin so that it
also considers document using my OQMath mode as XML documents ?

thanks

paul

Summary: Project Viewer bug on changing the project

Initial Comment:
I use projectviewer 2.1.0.1 and JEdit 4.3pre2. If I
activate both options for projectviewer: 'Close files
on project change' and 'Remember open project files' I
get sometimes (not everytime) a bug on a project
change: The combobox on the top of the projectviewer
shows the old project, but is deactivated (grey). The
tree in folders is also deactivated (grey) but switched
already to the new project. The activity log shows the
following:

Re: Other names for the XML mode ?

Yes, use a buffer-local property:

:sidekick.parser=xml:

Re: Other names for the XML mode ?

I tried setting the line
<!-- :sidekick.parser=xml:mode=OQMath: -->
under the doctype-declaration... it changed the mode
and setting the buffer folding mode to sidekick, it did show me a
correct structure-browser but the XML mode plugin facilities didn't
show up:
- "</" didn't close me the element
- had no pop-up about possible children
- ... edit tag at caret just beeped.

Maybe there's another one for XML... seeing the XML.props file seems to
indicate that some support for other type of documents are supported,
maybe that's the way (but I have a DTD at hand!).

Summary: Console: I/O error in Plugin Manager (can't open zip)

Initial Comment:
I've tried to install the Console plugin both with
Plugin Manager and manually. In the first case the file
won't download due to an error with the zip version.
When I tried to install it manually jEdit informs me
that it is something wrong with the plugin and
recommends me to upgrade the Console plugin via the
Plugin Manager..

Summary: Console: better RE for perl errors

Initial Comment:
The current RE coming with the Console plugin sometimes
produces an uncorrect script name in the Error List
plugin, especially when a file is being read at the
moment the perl script dies (e. g. "error at xyz.pl
line 12, <INFILE> line 25").

The following line in Console.props

console.error.perl.match=(.+) at (.+) line (\d+)(\.|,
(.+))

should be replaced with

console.error.perl.match=(.+) at ([^<>]+) line
(\d+)(\.|, (.+))
