[ jedit-Bugs-1047564 ] Tilde cannot be typed w Finnish keyboard

Summary: Tilde cannot be typed w Finnish keyboard

Initial Comment:
With Finnish keyboard tilde (~) is a "dead key", i.e.
pressing it once does not produce anything. You need to
press additionally space to get the tilde.

Furthermore, the tilde is "hidden under" Alt-Gr, i.e.
to get the tilde you need to press both Alt-gr and '¨'
(diaresis/umlaut) -key.

Now, no matter what I type, jEdit will not produce ~.
The other dead keys (e.g. `´¨^) do not have the problem,
so I think this is somehow related to Alt-Gr. OTOH
"normal" characters (e.g. {[]}) under Alt-Gr do work.

I am usimg Windows 2000/SP4 & java 1.5.0-b64.

Summary: BufferTabs 0.8.2: wrong tab highlighted with multiple views

Initial Comment:
BufferTabs 0.8.2: wrong tab highlighted when using
multiple views.
Open jEdit, split vertically. Open first file. Focus on
right pane. Open second file: second tab becomes active
in both panes, even in left tab where buffer content
still shows first file.
Sounds a lot like 923714 (last opened buffer becomes
the current one in all view), except now the last
opened tab becomes the current one, while the content
remains as it was, so there is a mismatch between tab
and content.
(BufferTabs 0.8.2, jEdit 4.2Final (latest debian
package), java 1.4.2_06 for Linux)

Initial Comment:
When I set the find dialog to search for something in a
directory, then double click it, jEdit completely
freezes, and must be ended manually from the process
list(I'm running win2K).

Summary: JEdit stops responding on load of file with a large line

Initial Comment:
Attached is a file that successfully replicates this
bug on my machine. The noteable characteristic of this
file is a ridiculously long line. It will load up fine
in notepad, however, and can be rendered in a browser
even. Not so with JEdit, which stops responding, but
still uses up CPU time. I'm sure this isn't a plugin
issue, I've tried opening it without the html
extension, and also disabling my plugins. I'm running
Win2K, if you have any problems replicating this.
