Re: Geany-Plugins 0.21.1 released

I was wondering whether the Geany ubuntu PPA was going to be updated with the new builds and new plugins.

If not though I have never done this myself I will give it a go.

Kind Regards

Sayth

Hi all,

Due a little issue with source tarball of 0.21-release of Geany-Plugins
0.21.1 has been released which fixes an issue of non working waf-build
system from inside the source tarball.

As usual, tarballs and their corresponding GPG signatures can be found
at <http://plugins.geany.org/downloads.html>.

The Windows installer has not been directly effected by this issue so
renewing is not needed.

Cheers,
Frank

Hi Sayth,

IIUC the normal maintainer is busy with "real life" at the moment so
it may be a while before the repository is updated.

I don't think the changes will affect the binaries if they were just in
the Waf build system. Assuming the packages didn't use the Waf build
system, there should be no issues rebuilding them from their source
using Autotools.

I guess Loong Jin can answer this for sure though.

True, but there is no 0.21 in the PPA yet, thats the point.

Colors of syntax highlighting - Windows

Hi guys,

I'm new with the Geany and I've tried to change the color of the comment in the 'Tcl' syntax definitions. However, it seems like it doesn't matter which value I put in the file, the color remains the same.

Can you help?

Thanks,

Matan

It depends ;D
Can you describe what you did? Maybe you just missed a line or edited in
wrong place - because it should work :)

Sorry for the quick note above, I was short of time.

<at> Frank, Thats correct, I found you need to set the colour of the
commentline setting not just the comment setting to make it work.

Add 'Terminal' to the workspace

Hi,

I'm using Geany 0.21 under Windows XP. How can I add 'Terminal' tab at the bottom of the workspace?

All I have is status, compiler, messages and scribble.

Thanks,

Matan
