Hi there, On Fri, 9 November, I subscribed the ryppl.devel mailing list. I got a notification on 11th November that the group was added and would be populated when the next message arrived. Although there were several messages, the group was not actually created on gmane until yesterday (19th Nov). Still, when I post to the list either through knode nntp client or through the website, the message does not arrive. I also do not receive the usual mail from gmane to confirm that I exist, due to sending a message to that list for the first time. We don't know of anything that could cause that on the mailing list side: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.programming.tools.ryppl.devel/8 Can anyone help us find out what is going on? Thanks, Steve.

There's about 100K unique visitors per day, so that means that each
visitor looks at three pages.
Googlebot downloads 1M pages from Gmane per day, while Bing downloads a
tenth of that.
One really weird thing is that post.php is viewed 100K times per day by
non-robot users. That seems pretty absurd, and points to those not
being real users. There's 50K POSTs to that page per day, of which
99.99% are rejected, I guess, so that must be some kind of spambot
thing...
"sort | uniq -c | head" of the POSTs to post.php shows this:
10608 222.187.222.104
7797 65.60.32.44
7651 184.154.149.2
