One of the things that hamper Linux's climb to world domination is the
shortage of bad Computer Role Playing Games, or CRaPGs. No operating system
can be considered respectable without one.

I send messages but I can't find them only in gmane.

Hi all,
sorry to botherin' admins but I can't understand what's going on with my posts.

I read the faqs few times (didn't help) then I try gmane.test and it works.

Few years ago I made a subscription (through gmane) to this mailing list:
http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.linux.audio.region.italy

Everything worked fine (my last message was sent in March) 'till two days ago.
Now I can post from gmane (*) but my messages doesn't show in gmane pages. I
sent a couple of messages.

(*) you can easily find them here:
http://gnufunk.org/pipermail/linuxaudio-it/2009-August/thread.html
http://www.mail-archive.com/linuxaudio-it <at> gnufunk.org/

I don't think I'm into a spam list 'cause gmane.test works and the mailing list
is public, you can find my posts.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English language knowledge.

Cheers.

I ran into that once again recently, and wondered whether
the advice to bug Lars by mail to alter the mailing list
data is still up to date or if that information can be put
into the nice form at e. g.
<URI:http://gmane.org/info.php?group=gmane.comp.sysutils.fcron.general&edit=t>.

Yes, please use the form to indicate a mailinglist address change.
(The form will send an email to a queue that several of us Gmane admins
have access to, so it's more likely to be processed because more people
have the opportunity to do so. So it helps if you put "the list has
moved from x to y" or similar as a comment, since then we don't have to
guess what you want.)

Sorry, I was not clear on what I meant: Not the mail address
changed, but the list is "subscribers only".
<URI:http://gmane.org/info.php?group=gmane.comp.db.postgresql.performance&edit=t>
has a field "Status" for this purpose, but that is missing
on
<URI:http://gmane.org/info.php?group=gmane.comp.sysutils.fcron.general&edit=t>.
Should I just use the comments field?

Still not working with my hotmail account.

Thanks.

Sounds likely. :-) However, renaming Gmane groups isn't really
possible, so it'll just have to remain that way...
