I am not sure if it will be, I believe other than for RSS feeds, blog
interface is less interesting than the "threads & frame" view.

Feel free to reject enhancement, I'd had been further considering to
suggest filtering all incoming posts to all groups to embed a footer with
the "thread & frame" view url.

I'd consider that also makes me easy to refer a post/thread across other
news-groups or various mail/chat conversations, and decreases the amount
of confusing, and on the top cross postings elsewhere.

There have been 2 at least, according to [3]

Ja, det synes jeg også.

I also prefer the threads & frame view and my request, which is
related to this RFE, is that the permalink pages make it easier
to get to the threads & frame view. For example, I just added
this to my del.icio.us bookmarks:

   Re: UW IMAP Keywords Limits
   <http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.mail.imap.uw.c-client/1714>

So now this link is displayed on my Deflexion.com blog, on a
bunch of del.icio.us pages, and anywhere else that the relevant
del.icio.us tag feeds are displayed. Random people who are
interested in IMAP and know nothing about Gmane are going to go
to this page and see the following in the left sidebar:

   RETURN
   Return to gmane.mail.imap.uw.c-client.

   TOPIC
   Go to the topic

Yeah, that's probably not a good text. I've now fixed it.

I just think it's counter-productive to add needless options. If a
user is in the bloggy layout, then the user probably wants to remain
there.

The RSS feed looks updated to me.

Arcknowledge

The following was recently brought to my attention:

http://arcknowledge.com/

My initial reaction is "what-the-?!?". My second reaction is that
they haven't obfuscated any mailing addresses.

They haven't updated anything since December. There's no contact info
anywhere. The WHOIS records are anonymous.

Now what?

http://osdir.com/ml/ seems to have the same content and a link at the
bottom to http://arcknowledge.com.

They seem to be the same company.

Actually, I now seem to remember getting an email from a person from
osdir.com a few weeks back. But he didn't say anything about this...
