Both those lists had more than one articles in them now, so I'm
unable to reproduce...

Strange NNTP/441 response

Accessing gmane via NNTP, I just tried to reply to a cross-posted
message, and set the Followup-To to the one most appropriate group. I
got back a 441 error that I am not allowed to approve messages. I have
previously posted to both groups without a problem. What's going on here?

It's a bug in the news software.

Maybe this should be added to the FAQ, Lars?  I once got tripped up on
that, too (not noticing that my posting had been moved to Leafnode's
failed.postings directory).  A FAQ entry might have helped.

Namespace suggestion for new group?

Hello,

I would like to add the biglumber list for keysigning (events) to
glorious gmane.org but I'm not sure which namespace or hierarchy
respectively I should use.

Any suggestions?

Web interface downtime

A teensy change I did in weaverd on Saturday segfaulted yesterday
(while I was away at another music festival -- the Testing By Going
Away methodology is really successful), and the programming error I
had done had scribbled over half the memory.  And it had been written
out, so the weaverd db files were corrupt.

But rethreading the 17M files only took about seven hours on the new,
spiffy A64 machine (thank you, Google ads), so things are back up
again now.
