Off Topic.

Small world A.T. I think I've spoke with you before at BladeForums.
I'm a knife maker myself, though not at your level of skill. Really
like your knives.

Re: Snuff Combinations

it's like good food and wine. combining flavors one after the other
can have better results than mixing together. who wants merlot mixed
with sharp cheddar and smoked salmon in a big gooey glob? tastes much
better seperate and i've found the same with some snuffs. sometimes i
mex snuffs together to get the texture i want, but i remember one i
liked a while back was a small pinch of mccrystals clove and then a
larger pinch of gletscher prise. try it!

my Gletscher Prise is all washed up!

My wife was doing laundry and assumed my pant pockets were empty.Well,
what do you know, they sure weren't.I gave the snuff a proper burial,in
the trashcan. It's o.k. I'm reviving some dry tom buck at the moment.

the cause of the headaches? Too much nicotine. How long should I wait
between snuffs? 1 hour? Any ideas guys? Also is poschl raspberry or
president dry snuff? What is a dry snuff?

Re: Thank you, Jaap.

Dear Jaap,

I look forward to the day when you can sell your wonderful stuff. I
love that it is course ground and have wonderful smooth smell
without being heady but still having plenty of punch. I am afraid
that have been a bit of glutton in that I have almost finished all
that you sent. I had one question I wondered if you use a sauce in
your Latakia snuff.

Thank you again for your wonderful gift I look forward to the day
that you can sell your snuff.

Sincerely,

Arydall

Re: [ Snuff Box The Nasal Snuff Club] OT: Huh?

Ok...Now I understand. Somehow I missed the key word
BLEND when you said "Rooster Blend." Since I don't
know what the blend was like I have nothing to say!

Re: [ Snuff Box The Nasal Snuff Club] Snuff & Vision

I, too, find my vision seems a bit clearer after a
couple of pinches. I don't notice the same effect
when I smoke. I am terribly nearsighted and must wear
glasses continuously, but at 40 I'm now having a
little difficulty reading stuff and know that in a few
years I'll either need bifocals or separate reading
glasses. Snuff seems to help; all of a sudden I can
focus better.

Re: [ Snuff Box The Nasal Snuff Club] Re: Snuff Combinations

I sometimes do the smorgasbord method when I'm at
home: I take a pinch of this then say "a little of
that would be nice," then "now a bit of that," then
"maybe a bit more of this other one."

Sometimes I want a single snuff exclusively for
awhile. Sometimes I'll make a blend. I never leave
the house without at least three kinds, though. Most
commonly I'll take McC's, Royal George, and a Poeschl,
but lately I've been replacing with one of the
excellent Unbespoke blends and/or Jaap's Latakia.
