Re: [ Snuff Box The Nasal Snuff Club] The Traditional Pinch

Howdy Winslow!

Than again, you don't know where that other persons fingers have
been! Don't want to let just ANYBODY sticking their grungy little
fingers into your pouch, now do you?

I mean, hell, I don't even want to stick my OWN fingers in my snuff!

That's why I use the backhand method!

Re: Re: [ Snuff Box The Nasal Snuff Club] Questions by a new snuff user...

I'm not from the UK (else my english will be better :-)). I am from
Switzerland. Here in Switzerland mc chrystals is the most popular
snuff. Everybody who try that snuff knows why!
If you must sneeze, then you don't take too much snuff, but the snuff
is too dry (either to old or bad quality). My rule is "if i must
puke, i have definitively taken too much" :-)

Windy. That has kind of been my understanding on cigarette tobacco
also, My Mom says as a kid she liked the smell of the curing tobacco
barns around Dresden Tenn. She also liked the smell of the "firing"
barns. Now I don't know if that was all cig tobacco since they also
make cigars and chewing tobacco which would be my guess as to what
was hapening with the firing barns. I thought the cig tobacco was
just cured (dried) then mixed, like Burley and Virgina.

Something I have wondered about, since some places use steam to get
the light, medium and dark tobacco to get the different nicotine
content and flavor for snuff.(which only takes overnight) Why don't
the cigar companies do the same thing instead of fermenting (for
weeks or months) their tobacco especially to get the Maduor wrapper.
Is the difference just because of the method of delivery, smoked
instead of sniffed? The difference in the kinds of tobacco used
or...? I don't know but it is interesting.
