Hey Craig -- thanks! I posted that link to the La Venture FB page. We had a great grand opening -- over 100 people viewed the space and "got it." While some folks don't feel like a fit, they know people who might take a liking to it. Plus -- the musicians I invited love the acoustics in the conference room. I have a gut feeling we're going to have music during "off" hours at La Venture on a regular basis.

We had a great turnout last night -- tons of folks we'd never met before (over 100 people, old friends and new folks) who saw the articles in the newspapers and wanted to check the space out. Graphic designers, musicians, artists, Web designers -- a lot of creative folks as well as a few attorneys (we're just a block from the county courthouse). We'll see how she flies from here...

Hey Justin! Where are you located now? La Grange is growing so quickly, from 6,000 to 8,000 people in two years (still, 8,000 folks in the city, 60,000 in the county is small potatoes to some), that it seems the right time to do this. We had a more than a few folks from Crestwood and Buckner show up -- thanks to the news article. I remember one guy is a graphic designer and another is an architect, and they were both new to the area. It was great to meet new folks, without a doubt.

I'm looking for some software that doesn't take a programmer to implement. I do really well with Office (LOL), but beyond that... My center is more for entrepreneurs -- not the computer type -- we work with health and wellness programs, one of our member sells business books, another is a massage therapist, etc. I need a program that doesn't require a computer guru. Suggestions?

We use http://chargify.com at The Skiff to process around 70
transactions a month. We've been using it for the last 6 months and
are very happy to be free of PayPal's constraints.

http://recurly.com, or http://spreedly.com might be a better fit for others.

We're still looking for a good solution on the meeting rooms front.
We've tried some services like http://bookingbug.com but they all seem
to massively overcomplicate things. At the moment we use a combination
of http://wufoo.com forms and Google Calendar but it's dependent on a
few manual steps.

Coworking, Orange County - our web site

Collab Space, Inc recently opened coworking space in Costa Mesa,
Orange County, California

As i was creating content for our website i found that clearly
everything has been brilliantly said already... why don't we create a
collaborative / template site that a coworking start-up could simply
customize with logos, photos etc?  I will make mine available after
its finished if anyone wants to make their mods and use it.  Still
working on a few items.
Question: - especially directed to creativespace, watercooler, cohere,
workingvillage, blankspaces, the work spot, indyhall & more).  Is it
cool to borrow from other sites?  I have been trying to create my own
way to do things, but it seems kind of ridiculous to keep saying the
same thing in yet another way and I sure do like your ways.

Open for business and grateful for any advice.
