Saul and Israel

Saul wrote some pretty amazing stuff. Just these few scriptures below seem to make a statement which most believers outright deny and really, most get their feathers ruffled!...<s>

Ro 14:3  Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for Yahweh hath received him.
Ro 14:4  Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for Yahweh is able to make him stand.
Ro 3:3  For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of Yahweh without effect?
Ro 3:4  By no means: yea, let Yahweh be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Ro 11:26  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away wickedness from Jacob:
Ro 11:27  For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Ro 11:28  As concerning the glad tidings, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ (patriach's Yahweh made covenant with) sakes.

RE: Saul and Israel

laz,

This is Tom Sathre. One of the things I like about Saul, in the OT is that NT revelation comes out of his mouth. Remember 1 Sam. 15:22?

Re: Saul and Israel

Actually they should have understood what was said there. It was always so, even from the beginning. They couldnt because of thier stiff-neckness, as it is today for Israel. (Jews and church)

This is Tom Sathre. Then must not have been the fullness of time (Gal.4:4). I often find myself out of step with God's timing.
