RE: 4 Police Officers Shot Dead At Wash. Coffeehouse

A big thanks to Mike Huckabee for commuting the 95 year sentence of this guy back in 2000, but hey, Mike says HE
didn't know Maurice Clemmons, a career butthead, would offend again, surely the light of love would lead
him to a bright and peaceful future.
I hope he can convince the families of the officers, and the young girl that Clemmons raped, that he is
"Presidential" material in 2012.
Thank God that some good patrol officers spotted Clemmons today and put him in the ground where he belongs.

Well, to put this in perspective, Huckabee so far is the ONLY public official to utter the words "I am responsible."

Everybody else is busy pointing fingers at everybody else. It's pure chickenshit.

Read my new Examiner column:

A cop killer is dead, and now is the time to start asking questions

You might want to add that it was the PROSECUTOR that didn't contest the
parole and the later violations. Yes, Huckabee commuted the sentence,
but it was the PROSECUTOR that failed to keep him behind bars.

Where did you get this info? It's the opposite from what I'd heard,
that the prosecutors protested his release. I don't know about the
later violations...

Huck says there was no intervention from the Prosecutor. He wasn't around.

Re: 4 Police Officers Shot Dead At Wash. Coffeehouse

You must not have been listening/reading the news. It was all over the
radio today. I even read a couple of articles on the internet news sites.

As usual, the State Media made up a lot of the early reports. The
shooter was originally sentenced, as a juvenile, to 108 years for
burglary (unarmed theft of some sort.) The sentence was way outside
guidelines and the Parole Board and state AG recommended commutation.
Huckabee cut the sentence to 47 years. With the 11 years already
served, this made him eligible for parole. The prosecutor did not
object, nor later when parole was actually granted.
