Good news!

Your wish is granted.

You may want to review what actually happens before you go off in all
directions about what you think is good or bad.

Pilot enters the flight deck with the rest of the flight deck crew and
locks the door.

Pilot removes the padlock portion from the holster and puts holster on
 his belt.

He now has the holster and pistol ready for use during the flight
UNLESS he must visit the Rest Room. If using the Rest Room requires
him to leave the flight deck he either transfers the holstered pistol
to another qualified flight deck crew member or resecures the padlock
through the trigger guard and holster.

Return from the Rest Room repeat entire rigamarole.

Re: Speaking of Holsters-Check out the TSA Mandated Holster!!

Firstly, that was hardly going "off in all directions about what you
think is good or bad."

Secondly, without full disclosure of the required procedure, I made
the statement in good faith. And, no, I did not go research all the
crap that goes on behind the cockpit door, because I really don't
care.

Thirdly, I don't fly and have no idea what a pilot must do for
ANYthing. I prefer to drive. I get to carry my gun with me when I
drive.

Fourthly, and perhaps most importantly, BIOYA.

LMAO.
I just remembered a little ditty we sang at college:

"Ring a-ding, ding ding ding, blow it out your ass."

Sheesh, this is thanks I get when I said we should leave T.U.
uncensored?

No good deed goes unpunished I guess. C-c-c-c-an, can I change my vote?

And BIOYA? (B)ring (I)t (O)n (Y)et (A)gain?

Okay, if you insist.

First, I stand corrected. You did not go off in all directions. You
went off in one direction, the same direction you always go: when
confronted with a choice between defense of self and community you
will always default to the "gunowners who support more gun control
and regulation" position. Why did I ever think otherwise?

Bought a crossbreed holster for my 8040 Beretta

I finally got off my butt and ordered a Crossbreeds Holster, I have
used the smartcarry for about a year and like it but is is a bit harder
to use sometime. I will keep it for my snub nose Rossi that I use as a
back up. The 40cal is a great weapon and I have heard great things
about the crossbreed holster marblehead

NEWS RELEASE
OBAMA SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR INSULTING MILLIONS OF ARMED CITIZENS, SAYS CCRKBA
BELLEVUE, WA - Democrat Barack Obama on Tuesday insulted millions of legally-armed American citizens
when he told a Pennsylvania newspaper that concealed carry poses a threat to innocent people, and he
should immediately apologize for that remark, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms
said today.

Senator Obama, quoted by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, admitted, "I am not in favor of concealed
weapons. I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations."

"American citizens have been responsibly carrying concealed handguns for years in 48 states," said
CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, co-author of America Fights Back: Armed Self-Defense in a Violent Age,
published by Merril Press. "These citizens go through background checks, and in some states complete
required training courses. Statistically, these armed citizens are far less likely to ever be involved
in a crime than average citizens. They have stopped crimes. They have sometimes aided police officers.

"Senator Obama," he continued, "should not confuse legally-armed, law-abiding Americans with
inner-city thugs, gang-bangers and other criminals who carry guns illegally. Thanks to a revealing 1996

Dave,I just got off the phone with the Oboomer campaign office and told them not to mess with our ccw rights
along with the 2nd admendment to our Constitution. We have had enough of the antis B.S. on gun control. I
even told the staff member that we have heard enough of the retorict on gun control and it is time to enforce
the laws we have on the books now. Not later. The presidential campaign has gone on long enough an starting
to sound like a soap opera story whos doing what to who?????? I also told the staffer this,We spend our hard
earn monies for a ccw permit,is Oboomer going to protect us without a firearm????????
YEA............RIGHT!!!!!!!!! BULLSH>T. Rziemies,Omaha,Ne.

Re: Just got me a PPK/s

I am amazed at the accuracy. I could align the shots and almost hit on top of the previous shot. WOW! I can't do
that with my Glock 23 (.40SW). Why? I felt like a marksman!

However, with Walther mags, I had ftl (failures to load) a few times. After a couple of shots, the shell was
expelled, but I ended up with two cartridges fighting for the chamber. BAD. I hope it's a matter of breaking
it in. I just got some Federal ammo--might matter. The stuff I used was cheapy store ammo.

It also has a good kick--snappy, but not bad.

:)
Vlad
Looking fwd to more shooting with his PPK/S with Federal ammo.

My fiance says there is no difference between the .380 and the .380 ACP, they are both a 9 mil bullet, if your
using it for taget, its a great round. but, if your using it for concealed your better off using the .380 or
make it a secondary with a larger caliber.

Pros - awsome gun, durable, accuarate
Cons - expensive to fix, mags and parts are hard to find, unless you have a connection

Side note: He's not a fan of Walther, but he says they are a good gun

Re: Just got me a PPK/s

380 & 380 ACP are the same cartridge. If memory serves right ACP
stands for Colt Automatic Pistol just to designate that it was for
an auto and not for a revolver. I have had a 32 PP and it has never
failed me in 40 years.
