Your wish is granted. You may want to review what actually happens before you go off in all directions about what you think is good or bad. Pilot enters the flight deck with the rest of the flight deck crew and locks the door. Pilot removes the padlock portion from the holster and puts holster on his belt. He now has the holster and pistol ready for use during the flight UNLESS he must visit the Rest Room. If using the Rest Room requires him to leave the flight deck he either transfers the holstered pistol to another qualified flight deck crew member or resecures the padlock through the trigger guard and holster. Return from the Rest Room repeat entire rigamarole.(Continue reading)
