A long time ago.  Wednesday afternoon.  At work, clock watching.  Gotta be away on time.

The drive to Rothbury.  The meet.  Up gravelly bank.  Up Simonside.  Always up, whichever way.

Sunsets from the top of Simonside.  Hot breath in freezing air on the Carriage Drive.  Lights piercing the darkness.  Hip flasks of goodness, and not-so-goodness.  Cragside Cheek.  Hot tea and Tim and Bee's.

Anybody feeling nostalgic?  Is it madness to think it could happen again?

Any of the Rothbury contingent fancy joining me, one Wednesday night, soon, to plant an acorn?  Who knows, we might even be able to grow another oak tree...
